to the website of Sherman Smith.  Sherman’s professional background consists of institutional money management, and real estate development.  He is currently involved in several real estate developments.  His most recent development is a 6.5 acre self storage facility in Shawnee, Kansas.  Plus he is a partner in a residential development in Basehor, Kansas.  He is also a partner in several commercial real estate holdings and a farming operation.  Sherman is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in economics and is a member of the 1973 National Championship football team.  After graduation he worked for 25 years in the institutional money management industry concluding in 2001 as Sr. Vice President with Duff & Phelps Investment Management Services, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.
